The Democrats continue to plunge over the abyss in their attempt to cling to power, and destroy our country in the process. They blame Trump’s win on Russian covert influence operations. The entire politically correct, progressive power structure — led by the legacy media — is mobilized to support the effort to delegitimize Trump’s election victory.

Their actions are de-stabilizing American government out of spite and fear — fear of losing their death-grip on political power.

Knowledge of covert influence, the history of the KGB’s operations against the U.S., and the effects of the KGB’s historical influence operations on the American political landscape are in short supply. I literally wrote the book on KGB intelligence covert influence operations against the U.S. (Google "covert influence kgb" or "covert influence comintern," the first several pages of results are hits on my books and other writing).

I’ve explored the deep politicization of the intel community (IC) by the Obama administration. I’ve chronicled the political depths to which the IC has plunged under John Brennan’s rule — both as the Intel Czar in the White House, and in his present position as the Director of the CIA.

A brief overview of the history of Russian covert influence operations against the USA is useful here.

The KGB began covert influence ops against the U.S. from the very inception of the communist intelligence service, at the dawn of the USSR. Its first influence operations manipulated the pitifully naïve American officials in Russia observing the revolution. The de facto U.S. government representative in Russia was a Progressive with a Red Cross mission, Raymond Robins.

Robins was a direct conduit to the White House. The Bolsheviks' intel service (at the time known as the Cheka) made use of a Russian immigrant to America, returned for the revolution, Alex Gumberg, to handle Robins. Gumberg controlled the story that America heard from the newly communist country. Robins trusted Gumberg for all interactions with the communists, and passed on to Washington exactly the message that the communists wanted. Gumberg simultaneously handled the American media representatives in Russia covering the revolution. Gumberg’s masterful handling of the media provided a vision of the revolution that was exactly what the Russians desired.

Gumberg handled a variety of American officials, inserting the communist influence message as desired by his Bolshevik bosses, Lenin and Trotsky. He ended up working on Wall Street, after the revolution, continuing to strive for communist causes.

The KGB learned well from Gumberg’s nearly perfect manipulation of Americans. The Comintern's covert influence genius, Willi Muenzenberg, later ran covert influence operations against the U.S. for more than a decade. He built the model of false beliefs that are the underpinnings of politically correct progressivism today. The six fundamental beliefs that one must accept to be part of the PC-Prog party: America is a racist, sexist, xenophobic, homophobic, imperialist, capitalist hellhole. The Comintern’s covert influence ops laid the foundation for this belief system.

Muenzenberg also created the system of interlocking cover groups, used today by the PC-Progs. These groups, mostly funded by George Soros today, provide a cachet that makes the hatred of America cool.

The intent of the original KGB influence ops was to destroy American exceptionalism, so that communism would replace our culture and government. They believed that this would be a quick process. While they were wrong about the speed of the destruction, they were right about the results. It just took 80 years for the influence payloads to grow and spread. The payload message of despising normal America has now become the core belief system of the Democratic Party.

Which brings us to the uproar over Trump and Russian influence operations today. First, Russian influence ops are nothing new. Nor indeed, are American influence ops against foreign countries' political systems anything new.

The most important issue here is not the fact that Russians may, or may not, have been behind the leaking of real, true emails from Hilary Clinton's consigliere. Or the exposure of the Democratic Party's manipulation of the election system. As "influence ops" go, the emails leaked during the past year were more like real journalism than espionage. Obtaining inside information and revealing it in print is what journalism is supposed to do.

The PC-Prog response to the true revelations is classic: admit nothing, deny everything, and make counter-accusations. This is the last refuge of the PC-Progs when their misdeeds are revealed.

The media and establishment hand wringing about the danger of Trump disrespecting and disputing the CIA's claims of Russian support of Trump is outrageous. Nearly all of the hysterical repetitions of the CIA Director’s (DCIA) political ravings ignore the fundamental corruption of today's CIA.

John Brennan, Obama’s crony intel lackey, is the DCIA. He has been at Obama’s side since the 2008 campaign. When Brennan was rejected by Congress for the DCIA position in 2009, Obama rewarded him with an even more powerful (but less prestigious) position — sitting in the White House as a czar. This position allowed Brennan to effectively control the entire IC. His recent appointment to the DCIA position is a fulfillment of the former CIA analyst's burning ambition. As the DCIA, Brennan wreaked havoc by reorganizing the agency, elevating the analysts on par with the covert operators.

At the same time, Brennan has continued the abject politicization of the agency. His fealty to President Obama is apparently unlimited.

With this context, it should be easier to understand the accusations that Brennan's political organization in Langley is making in an attempt to destroy the Trump presidency before it begins.

The assumption of many appears to be that the CIA is an honest broker. It is imperative to understand that it is not. This is a dangerous escalation of the PC-Progs' power games. Using the CIA for a domestic political message, leveraging the cachet of public respect for the CIA, is unprecedented.

The politically progressive influence operators — the media, Hollywood, and academia — were in full operational mode throughout the campaign. They ran multiple misinformation/disinformation operations designed to confuse and fool voters. Their payloads included everything from "Trump is a serial molester" to "Trump is a fool." And worse.

But American voters, for the first time, saw through the PC-Progs' influence ops. We bypassed the legacy media, and talked to each other. Trump used his bully pulpit, and Twitter, to speak directly to Americans.

The PC-Progs are terrified now. They are willing to take down the country in their attempt to cling to power. They know they are busted. Thus, "Fake News! The Russkies did it!" But the descent to use the CIA as a political weapon against the triumphant American voters should be seen for the desperation ploy it is.

Trump must clean out the political lackeys from the intel community. Brennan cannot be gone soon enough.
