The New York Post reports that New Jersey
Gov. Chris Christie is under "huge pressure" by GOP bigwigs to enter the 2012 race.
Citing a source close to the Christie camp, the paper said: "'Huge pressure from high-ranking Republicans and fund-raisers' is making Christie consider the possibility, however, the source said. 'He’ll decide this week.'”
The Post story comes on the heels of
Newsmax's report on Friday, which first broke the news that Christie recently met with several Republican donors and told them he would reconsider his decision not to enter the 2012 race and promised to make a decision within days.
Still, the Post said several Christie aides continue to tell the paper Christie won't run.
