Tuesday, 15 June 2010 09:13 AM EDT

Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal has told the National Guard to start building barrier walls nine miles off shore -- a measure intended to keep the Gulf oil spill from reaching his sate's coast by coverring the gaps between barrier islands, according to a report by ABC News.
