Chris Rock recently made a prediction as to how President Barack Obama will act should he be re-elected.
The comic appeared on a fellow comedian’s podcast and said that if Obama, Rock's pick for president in 2012, wins a second term he will engage in “gangsta s***.”
Rock appeared on "WTF with Marc Maron," and said, “There’s a f***ing art to the first term because you’re always running for a second term the whole time. It’s like Clinton’s first term. You can’t really do your gangsta s*** until your second term . . . Even Bush couldn’t really f*** up the world until his second term. That’s when he put the hammer down.”
Like many other left-of-center celebrities, Rock is expressing his disappointment with Obama for not having done enough.
“I’m like everybody, I want more action. But I understand that he’s trying not to p*** off a lot of people,” Rock said. “But I believe wholeheartedly if he’s back in, he’s going to do some gangsta s***.”
Apparently, Obama’s use of the presidency to illegally confiscate property from Chrysler’s secured creditors in order to benefit the Democrat Party’s union pals isn’t “gangsta” enough for Rock.
Rock had some predictable things to say about Obama’s predecessor, too.
“The last George Bush we had was the first cable TV president we had. And what I mean by that . . . he was the first president that was only president to the people that voted for him,” he said.
“He did not give a f*** about the people that didn’t vote for him. Obama is actually trying to be president to the whole country and there’s a lot of compromise being president to the whole country,” Rock said.
Rock evidently still believes Obama is the same individual who ran on the idea that our country should move beyond the "old labels" of right and left or red and blue. The comic seems to be turning a blind eye to the way in which the president continually divides Americans by race, class, and political affiliation.
Rock may have inadvertently revealed the driving motivation of the left. His opinion as to the impetus for Democrats is direct and simple.
“We want revenge; we don’t want justice. That’s the problem with the Democrats. We want revenge,” Rock admitted.
