Donald Trump was booed at the Republican presidential debate in New Hampshire after he tried to silence Jeb Bush's attacks on his defense of eminent domain — and then accused those booing him were big donors and other establishment supporters.

"Let me talk," Trump said to Bush. "Quiet."

The audience, estimated to be at more than 1,000 by the ABC News moderators, then booed Trump.

As he started to respond to Bush's attack on eminent domain, Trump then said: "Let me just tell you, we needed tickets. You can't get them.

"You know who has the tickets, to the television audience? Donors, special interests, the people who are putting up the money. That's who it is. The [Republican National Committee] told us.

The boos got louder.

"We have all donors in the audience. And the reason they're not loving me — the reason they're not … ."

When co-moderator Josh McElveen of WMUR-TV tried to interrupt, Trump said, "excuse me."

Still, louder boos.

"The reason they're not loving me is, I don't want their money," Trump said. "I'm going to do the right thing for the American public.

"I don't want their money. I don't need their money," Trump said. "And I'm the only one up here that can say that."

The audience booed further.
