GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump said Wednesday he would make Mexico pay for a border wall not by sending them a bill, but with taxes, trade deals and more.

Appearing at a town hall even on Fox News Channel's "Hannity," Trump said he would have Mexico pick up the $10 million tab through "many different ways," including taxes, which would presumably be a tariff on imports.

Host Sean Hannity also suggested making "deals" with them, though that option was not further explored.

"Look, we lose a tremendous amount of money on … we have a trade deficit with Mexico, $58 billion a year, Trump said. "People don't know that."

"So in other words, you don't expect Mexico to say, 'Yes, Mr. Trump, here's a check for $10 million,'" Hannity said.

"Politically, it wouldn't look good," Trump said.
