A triple threat of top Republicans will take to the steps of Capitol Hill on Wednesday as Donald Trump, Sarah Palin and Sen. Ted Cruz hold a rally to protest the Iran nuclear deal.

Cruz — a Texas Republican, and like Trump a candidate for the 2016 GOP presidential nomination — announced the anti-deal pep rally on his Twitter page.
It's the first time during the campaign that Trump, Cruz and Palin, the former Alaska governor and vice presidential running mate of Sen. John McCain, have joined forces.

Trump and Cruz, while competitors have become friends, with Cruz steadfastly defending Trump following some of the billionaire developer's controversial statements.

And Trump and Palin have become pals, with Palin conducting an interview with Trump last week.

All three have been highly critical of the Iran nuclear deal, which would lift crippling economic sanctions against Iran in exchange for limitations on the Middle East nation's ability to build nuclear weapons.
