NBC News' battleground map of the 2016 presidential race shows Hillary Clinton leading Donald Trump.

The map breaks down all the states by electoral college tallies and "tossups" which could go either way.

The results:

  • Clinton: 274.
  • Trump: 170.
  • Tossup: 94.

Clinton's 274 electoral votes would be more than the 270 needed to win the presidency. There are 538 total electoral votes available.

The map shows Democrats with a dozen states that are listed as "likely" to be won by Clinton, both on the west coast and the Northeast, while Republicans have 10 states that are "likely" to be won in the south and Midwest. The tossups are in the middle of the country and Alaska, while Hawaii is seen as likely Democrat.

NPR also released a final electoral map predicting the same number of electoral votes for Clinton, but more for Trump.

NPR's map results:

  • Clinton: 274.
  • Trump: 214.
  • Tossup: 50.

The Los Angeles Times' electoral map also predicted a win for Clinton.

  • Clinton: 352.
  • Trump: 186.

According to the LA Times, polls in Ohio and Arizona are the most difficult to predict, as the candidates have been close in those two states.
