Encouraging responsible firearm handling must start with the young and teaching youth to handle guns correctly while also having fun is the best way to meet that end. As such, Henry supports youth shooting sports and donated 200 Henry Lever Action Youth .22 rifles to the YSSA. A lightweight and compact weapon especially designed for young shooters, it is 33 inches long and weighs only four-and-a-half pounds.

By auctioning off an Original Henry Rifle Deluxe Engraved .44-40, Henry raised money to help the USA Shooting Team travel and compete. It was sold during the February 2014 Sheep Show in Reno, Nevada.
