ALERT: Should Obama Have More Control Over Guns? Vote Now

The Benelli law enforcement site, Benelli LE, features a popular quote known widely in the military: "There's no second place winner in a gunfight."

While traditional in its presentation, Benelli hasn't completely spurned style with its product. The Truth About Guns reviewed the Benelli M2 tactical ComforTech weapon. In the 2010 article, Capt. John N. Raguso writes a glowing review of the M2 in The Truth About Guns website: "Tactical shotguns aren't supposed to be pretty. They're supposed to be brutal … Trust the gunsmiths at Benelli to turn their back on this tradition … the Benelli M2 Tactical auto-loading 12 gauge is gorgeous."

Law enforcement agencies have plenty of options for locating Benelli products. The first place to start can always be the Benelli website itself. According to the site, the starting price for its M4 tactical shotgun is $2,099, as of March 2015. This gun features ghost-ring sights for quick target acquisition; picatinny rail for mounting scopes, g-sights, and optics; and an extended magazine that will hold seven 2-3/4-inch or 3-inch magnum shells.

There are also a number of online authorized Benelli LE distributors. One in particular is CMC Government Supply, based in Dallas, Texas. CMC provides tactical and entry shotguns to federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies nationwide. In addition, they offer a Benelli personal purchase program for all sworn law enforcement officers.

Law Enforcement Sales, USA, is another authorized Benelli LE dealer that contains a number of discounts and special promotions on  Benelli shotguns.
