Chavez Gets Emotional With Raul Castro

CARACAS - After bidding farewell to Cuban President Raúl Castro, who participated in the celebration of the Bicentennial of Venezuelan independence, President Hugo Chávez spoke to the cadets of the Honor Guard and ask them to continue training as "soldiers for peace and for the people, and not to bow to any empire."

"I invite the cadets to continue building up their soul, their morality, their mysticism and mind. You have to study and train physically, spiritually and morally. You have to train in the use of arms to ensure peace, because we are soldiers for peace, soldiers to protect our people. Yet we are not going to bow to any empire or to any enslaving and unpatriotic bourgeoisie," the Venezuelan Head of State said at the Simón Bolívar international airport.
