A Trump voter in Utah is now protesting the president-elect, saying he has become more "politician-like."

"What I've found since his election is that he's becoming more and more politician-like, where he says one thing, and does another," Richard Robinson, a Vietnam veteran, told Fortune.

When he spoke to Fortune, Robinson was taking part in a protest in Utah on Tuesday, outside the headquarters of Goldman Sachs. He said he voted for Trump because he believed his newness to the political scene would be a positive change.

He noted that during his presidential campaign, Trump promised to "drain the swamp," yet has added multiple alumni from Goldman Sachs to his circle, including Anthony Scaramucci, incoming White House strategist Steve Bannon, and Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin.

The Goldman Sachs tie has Robinson worried. He lives on disability and Social Security after an accident in 2000. He finds it difficult to pay for his home, where rent rises each year. Goldman Sachs owns part of the company that owns his community.

He also questions the choice of Mnuchin, who oversaw the bank OneWest when it foreclosed on 36,000 homes.

"I saw people in manufacturing — my neighbors — lose their jobs and homes," Robinson told Fortune.

Robinson said he took Trump seriously, not literally. He said he believed Trump was serious about cutting the government's ties to Wall Street, which in part led to him casting his vote for Trump.

"I'm not sure that was the best decision anymore," Robinson said in the interview.

The Huffington Post on Tuesday compiled comments from voters who have said they regret voting for the president-elect. One voter said: "The swamp is full again. It's actually fuller."
