A petition with more than 15,000 signatures is asking people to boycott ABC over the network's decision to cancel a popular TV show with a conservative main character.

"Last Man Standing," which stars comedian Tim Allen, was canceled despite being the No. 1 show in its Friday night timeslot. Fans of the conservative-leading sitcom think politics were behind the move.

"Last Man Standing is one of the only shows on broadcast television, and the only sitcom, that is not constantly shoving liberal ideals down the throats of the viewers," a Change.org petition reads. "And sadly, that is likely the real reason the show has been cancelled.

"The intent of this petition/boycott is to attempt to get ABC to renew the show. With that in mind, I will no longer be watching any ABC shows. I have cancelled the DVR settings for the other ABC shows that I regularly watch. If you want to help try to save 'Last Man Standing,' I encourage you to do the same."

Allen has not commented on ABCs decision, but plenty of conservatives have weighed in — including Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, who posted this on Twitter last week:
