SAN FRANCISCO -- The Golden Gate Bridge has been temporarily closed because of a pileup involving almost a dozen vehicles. Bridge officials say several people were injured in the crash Wednesday afternoon on the northern half of the world-famous span. Vehicles are blocking several lanes of the vital link between San Francisco and points north.
