Democratic Congressman Ted Lieu is arranging a meeting between the Environmental Protection Agency and a group of scientists and activists who blame an ingredient in a weed-killing product for "cancers, organ failures, neurological and environmental harm," The Washington Free Beacon reports.

The group is concerned about the chemical glyphosate, a key ingredient in the weed-killer Roundup, manufactured by Monsanto.

But oddly, as the meeting was being arranged, the EPA yanked a "final" report from its website stating glyphosate is "not likely to be carcinogenic to humans," according to The Free Beacon. It was reportedly removed after published "inadvertently" because more testing is needed.

The Free Beacon says the group planning to meet with the EPA, which it refers to as "conspiracy theorists," consists of environmental and public health activists whose studies on glyphosate have been "widely criticized and debunked."
