Alec Baldwin is taking on another parodic role as a member of the Trump administration, The New York Times reported.

In the documentary play, "All the President's Men? Scenes From the Senate Confirmation Hearings of President Trump's Cabinet," set to take place at the Town Hall theater on Broadway on May 11 in a collaboration between London's National Theatre and the Public Theater in New York, Baldwin will play Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and Sen. John Barrasso, R-Wy.

The production is based on verbatim testimony from this year's Trump administration confirmation hearings of four nominees: Tillerson, Health Secretary Tom Price, Attorney General Jeff Sessions, and Environmental Protection Agency chief Scott Pruitt.

"Sometimes the most powerful theater is reality, distilled," Oskar Eustis, the Public's artistic director, said in a statement. "This is a real-time portrait of the American government, and it is as riveting as the headlines and far, far more revelatory. It's like reading the news lit by lightning."

Baldwin has played President Donald Trump on "Saturday Night Live" since October, an impersonation that has drawn much ire from Trump himself.
