War Machine, the mixed martial arts fighter on the run on domestic violence charges, was captured by the U.S. Marshals Service at a hotel in Simi Valley, California. The feds were apparently a few jumps ahead of Dog the Bounty Hunter.

The fighter, whose real name is Jonathan Koppenhaver, 32, was nabbed by federal agents at the Extended Stay America Hotel on Friday afternoon without incident, according to KTLA-TV.

Koppenhaver was on run for a week after being accused of attacking ex-girlfriend and porn star Christy Mack, along with reality television star Corey Thomas, at her place in Las Vegas early on Aug. 8.

Las Vegas authorities issued several charges against Koppenhaver, including battery resulting in substantial bodily harm, battery by strangulation, two counts of battery with substantial bodily harm, open and gross lewdness, assault with deadly weapon and coercion with use of force or threat of force.

Mack suffered a ruptured liver, a broken leg, broken nose, missing teeth and 18 broken bones around an eye in the beating, according the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Mack, who said her relationship with Koppenhaver had ended earlier this year, posted pictures of her injuries on social media. Koppenhaver, though, gave the impression on a Twitter post on Aug. 10 that they were still together and in a serious relationship.

Duane Chapman, aka Dog the Bounty Hunter, the reality television bail bondsman, had vowed to track down Koppenhaver if he did not give himself up. Bellator MMA, the company that sponsored Koppenhaver's cage fights, fired him when learning from the allegations.

Mack had raised more than $74,800 on a fundraising page for her medical expenses.

Porn star Jenna Jameson announced her support for Mack on Instagram with the photo of her and the wounded woman together.

Thomas had appeared in the VH1's reality show "Megan Wants a Millionaire" in 2009 and is the founder of Las Vegas-based web design company The Web Squad.
