John Travolta went down to Georgia to renew his pilot's license and ended up flying in for a wedding.

In a move that would make Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson jealous, Travolta crashed a young couple's nuptials, and posed for several pictures with the entire wedding party, according to photos posted on Reddit.

No word on whether he discoed the night away.

The 59-year-old star of "Saturday Night Fever," "Grease" and "Pulp Fiction" met the bride and groom in a bar the night before and posed for photos with them. They then invited the star to their wedding the next day.

The movie star was "nice and down to earth about the whole ordeal," according to wedding guests.

Travolta has apparently attended weddings sans invitation in the past. He told USA TODAY in 2009 that he once crashed one in 1977 with Robin Williams: Wedding guests initially believed the two were celebrity impersonators of the stars of "Welcome Back, Kotter" and "Mork & Mindy."

Last week, pop music star Katy Perry and Twilight star Robert Pattinson were spotted watching the rehearsal of a bride and groom at the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, Ca.

In recent years, other well-known personalities from former President Bill Clinton to Justin Bieber have popped in for a couple's special day. Clinton did it while in Ireland, and Miami Heat star LeBron James in a Miami hotel.

In 2011, teen idol Justin Bieber and then-girlfriend Selena Gomez were walking on a beach in Malibu, Ca., when they heard Bieber's song "One Less Lonely Girl" playing at a wedding reception. The famous pair took to the mic to offer a toast, according to TMZ.com.

Also in 2011, actress Meryl Streep stopped by the Manchester Town Hall in England while filming "The Iron Lady" and happened upon a wedding. According to The Daily Mail, the Oscar-winner made an appearance, then sent autographed pictures with congratulatory messages.

One couple, John and Frances Canning of Manchester, England, sent an invitation to Queen Elizabeth in March 2012, then was shocked when she actually came.

"It was a wedding gift for us," the bride told CNN affiliate ITN.
