His attorney was hoping for surveillance tape to bolster Marion "Suge" Knight's version of a fatal hit-and-run, but a graphic security video posted by celebrity website TMZ on Monday allegedly shows the rap mogul in a red truck striking two people and tossing them around like rag dolls.

The video shows the truck in the parking lot of a California restaurant as the driver  identified as Knight by TMZ backs over Cle "Bone" Sloan, 51, then runs him over as it plows into Terry Carter, 55, throwing him into the air and out of the video frame.

According to the New York Post,  Knight stops and confronts Sloan. The truck then backs up, knocking Sloan to the ground. Moments later, the truck is seen speeding forward, running over Sloan and slamming into Carter who died from his injuries.

Knight, 49, has remained jailed without bail on murder, attempted murder and hit-and-run charges.

The Compton restaurant was one of the locations for recording a biopic "Straight Outta Compton" for the rap group N.W.A.,  reported the Post,  ans Knight had already been kicked off one of the sets before the confrontation.

Gary Dordock, Terry Carter's family attorney, told TMZ the family was happy the security video was out in public so the public can judge for themselves.

"The Carter family is pleased you are releasing the video so the public can see what actually occurred and not be forced to speculate based on third party descriptions of the video," said Dordock.

David Kenner, an attorney for Knight, had told The Associated Press that he believes the video shows that his client was approached first, ambushed and was only trying to get away from the confrontation.

Kenner told The Associated Press that he believes the video will help in Knight's defense in beating murder, attempted murder and hit-and-run charges. Knight has pleaded not guilty to the charges and remains in jail, noted The AP.

The Los Angeles Times reported that Knight has fired two attorneys recently and was taken to a jail infirmary last week after telling court personnel he could not "really comprehend" what was happening and was going blind due to medical issues.

Knight is accused in another case with comedian Katt Williams of stealing a camera from an independent celebrity photographer on Sept. 5, according to the Times.
