Rob Schneider's home in Encino, California was burglarized Friday, and robbers took a rare 1951 Bowman Willie Mays rookie card along with cash and jewelry.

The mint condition Mays rookie card is valued at $175,000, reported TMZ. The celebrity website stated that the valuable Mays card was separate from his collection of 1950s and 1960s baseball card collections that apparently burglars did not find.

TMZ reported that Schneider was away in Montreal attending the Just For Laughs Festival and his family was out to dinner in Los Angeles when the burglary occurred.

Along with the baseball card, burglars took a diamond engagement ring belonging to Schneider's wife, a Cartier watch and other items.

Chris Brown had his home robbed and ransacked in Tarzana, next door to Encino, earlier this month. In that incident, police reported that five men invaded Brown's home, took cash and other items while locking his aunt in a closet, reported KTLA-TV.

Like in the Schneider break in, Brown was away from the home at the time of the break-in.

In the Chris Brown robbery, the suspects were initially described as three black men who were likely wearing masks, reported the television station. Los Angeles Police later told KTLA-TV that as many as five were involved, fleeing in an unknown direction.

Schneider is best known for the comedy "Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo" from 1999 and sequel "Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo" from 2005. He also appeared with his former "Saturday Night Live" cast mate Adam Sandler in "Grown Ups," "You Don’t Mess With The Zohan," "50 First Dates," "Big Daddy," and "The Waterboy."

According to his biography, "Saturday Night Live's" Lorne Michaels saw Schneider perform on HBO's "13th Annual Young Comedians Special" and hired him for the sketch comedy show.

During four seasons on "Saturday Night Live," Schneider performed with such stars as Charlton Heston, John Malkovich, Macaulay Culkin, Christopher Walken, Jeff Goldblum and Joe Pesci.
