Fox News' Mike Tobin coolly broke up on-air kisses that two college students tried to give him Tuesday night during a report on the Boston bombings.

Tobin was in Boston reporting on the latest developments in the Marathon bombing and toward the end two college coeds leaned in from both sides to kiss his cheeks (video below).

Barely missing a beat, Tobin blocked both kissers with his forearms while still holding his microphone and looking into the camera. Tobin gently pushed them out of the camera frame, telling them in a calm voice, "please don't do that."

After blocking their kisses, Tobin proceeded with his report without stopping.

Based out of Fox News Channel's Chicago Bureau, Tobin has covered an array of breaking news stories, from the Israeli-Palestinian conflict to Operation Iraqi Freedom to the 2011 Wisconsin union protests.

Most recently, Tobin reported on the investigation in Newtown, Conn. following the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting.

Tobin later tweeted about the encounter.

The veteran news reporter's handling of the situation quickly garnered support on Twitter.

"Molested by fools. @MikeTobinFox executes the double stiff arm defense with commentary and continues his live report. #GraceUnderPressure," user Raindog tweeted.

"That was great Mike fought off 2 kiss bombs and didn't miss a beat!" Tradd Slayton wrote.

"@MikeTobinFox eyes on the sides of your head. Nice work!" another user, Grant Friedman tweeted.

This isn't the first time Tobin has been harassed by bystanders while delivering a live report.

In February 2011, Tobin was reporting from Madison, Wis., covering union protests at the state capital when pro-union protestors reportedly hit him in an attempt to disrupt his report.

They yelled "Fox News lies" and tried to cover up the camera with posters.

Tobin later discussed the heckling with Fox News' Geraldo Rivera.

"I look in their eyes, there is hate in their eyes," Tobin said. "They don't want to hear any kind of viewpoint that is different than their own. That's why they do what they do."
