Actress Rebekah Gibbs, who played paramedic Nina Farr on the BBC medical drama "Casualty," has died of cancer at age 41.

Gibbs appeared in more than 100 episodes of “Casualty” between 2004 and 2006.

Her talent agency, Belfield and Ward, tweeted about her death on Tuesday.

Gibbs was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer in 2008, shortly after the birth of her daughter, Gigi.

She was given a five-year all-clear from cancer earlier this year before a seizure led to the discovery of two brain tumors, a tumor in her neck, and a lesion on her lung, the Mirror said.

At the time, Gibbs said the recurrence left her in a dark place, feeling emotionally and physically low, scared and worried about her future, The Mirror said.

“She was always thinking of her little girl. Her husband Ash has been her rock and his mum Nonny has constantly cared for Gigi,” Gibbs’ friend Michelle Grant said, according to the Daily Mail. “There are so many people that loved her, everyone she knew loved her. When she spoke to you, it would feel as if you were the only person in her life at that moment.”

Condolences poured out on Twitter.
