Qdoba Video of Employee Feeding Disabled Customer Warms the Heart

A Qdoba video recorded recently at one of the Mexican restaurant's Louisville locations, which shows an employee feeding one of his regular customers who has a disability, has gone viral, earning the worker praise for his act of kindness.

Employee Ridge Quarles told WAVE3.com that he got to know the customer because she would come in on a regular basis and eat either lunch or dinner after getting dropped off by a bus that assists people with disabilities.

During a recent encounter, Quarles said he could tell she needed a little extra help.

"I had helped her through (the) line and sat her out in the lobby, got her a drink, got her utensils and a napkin, and kind of started to walk off and I was like, you know, 'Is there anything else I can help you with?' and she turned around and she was like, 'Sir, if you don't mind could you help me eat?'"

Dr. David Jones, who happened to be eating inside the restaurant at the time, told the television station that he noticed Quarles feeding the customer and decided to record a video of it.

"I said, I don't know, I think I'll just send it out to some of my friends and say, 'there's still some good people in the world,'" Jones told WAVE3.com.

The television station's story has been viewed nearly 140,000 times since Tuesday.

Several people on social media pointed out Quarles' kindness on Twitter.



Quarles recently left his job at Qdoba, according to The Huffington Post, but he acknowledged the attention he has been receiving on Facebook Monday.
