Freddie Prinze Jr. slammed his former "24" co-star Kiefer Sutherland during an appearance at Comic-Con over the weekend, saying that his experience working with the actor in 2010 made him want to quit acting.

Prinze, 38, was at the San Diego comic convention to promote his new Disney XD series, "Star Wars Rebels."

"I did '24,' it was terrible," the "She's All That" star told ABC News. "I hated every moment of it. Kiefer was the most unprofessional dude in the world. That's not me talking trash, I'd say it to his face, I think everyone that's worked with him has said that. I just wanted to quit the business after that. So, I just sort of stopped."

As if that wasn't enough, Prinze then took a shot at Sutherland's height as he continued to unload on the former "Lost Boys" star.

"I went and worked for Vince McMahon at the WWE for Christ's sake and it was a crazier job than working with Kiefer, but, at least he was cool and tall," Prinze said to ABC News. "I didn't have to take my shoes off to do scenes with him, which they made me do. Just put the guy on an apple box or don't hire me next time. You know I'm 6-feet and he's 5-foot-4."

When informed of Prinze's complaints, Sutherland — who was also at Comic-Con to publicize "24: Live Another Day" — took the high road, saying through his representative that he was surprised by his former co-star's comments.

"Kiefer worked with Freddie Prinze Jr. more than five years ago, and this is the first he has heard of Freddie's grievances," the rep told ABC News. "Kiefer enjoyed working with Freddie and wishes him the best."

A Fox official also denied Prinze's allegations, telling TMZ that Sutherland was "nothing but professional during the run of the show and is beloved by cast and crew."
