Paris Jackson NFL Offer to Cheer for Eagles Will Have to Wait

Paris Jackson, the late Michael Jackson's daughter, has been offered a spot on an NFL team's cheerleading squad after the coach saw footage of the teenager cheering at a high school basketball game.

Philadelphia Eagles cheer director Barbara Zaun said Jackson definitely has what it takes to be an NFL cheerleader.

"We thought that she had a lot of poise, confidence, and enthusiasm in her cheer performance," Zaun told TMZ. "Paris has that 'wow factor' that makes a great cheerleader."

Jackson, 14, would have to wait a few years to make the move from high school to pro, though. The Eagles organization requires its cheerleaders to be at least 18 and have a high school diploma.

"She is already very comfortable in the limelight, so we think she would definitely stand out and impress the judges," Zaun told TMZ. "We hope that she will try out for the team and be an Eagles cheerleader."

Jackson is a member of the varsity cheerleading squad at the Buckley School in Sherman Oaks, Calif., where the boy's basketball team won the school's first ever California Interscholastic Federation Southern Section title with a 54-46 win over San Luis Obispo (Calif.) Mission Prep March 2.

Jackson, the daughter of the King of Pop and Debbie Rowe, is an aspiring actress, and recently underwent a dramatic makeover. Her long brown hair is now styled into a punky black pixie cut, and last month she tweeted out photos showing gauged ears and what appears to be body art.
