New Jersey's creepy "Watcher" house, a home that has received several letters from an apparent stalker, is on the market with a reduced price.

NBC News reported that Derek and Maria Broaddus, parents to three children, purchased the home in affluent Westfield, New Jersey, in 2014 for $1.35 million. They never moved in, however, saying they received mysterious letters from someone calling him-or herself the "Watcher" not long after closing on the home.

"My grandfather watched the house in the 1920s and my father watched in the 1960s. It is now my time," one letter read in-part.

"Have they found what is in the walls yet? In time they will … I am pleased to know your names now and the name of the young blood you have brought to me," said a second letter.

On Tuesday, the Westfield Police Department said they are investigating the letters, but haven't identified a suspect.

The family soon filed a lawsuit against the previous homeowners, claiming they were aware that someone had a "mentally disturbed fixation" on the house.

John and Andrea Woods, the former homeowners, said they received an anonymous note just days before closing on the sale, but they "deny that the note was 'disturbing' or in any way claimed a right of possession and/or ownership of the premises," NJ.com reported

The Broaddus family attempted to re-sell the home for $1.5 million, but appeared to reduce the price to $1.25 million this month.
