No charges will be filed against NFL Network analyst Michael Irvin in a Florida sexual assault case brought against him in March.

Prosecutors said there wasn’t enough evidence to charge Irvin after a 27-year-old woman accused him of drugging and raping her on March 22 at a Ford Lauderdale, Florida, hotel.

Irvin, 51, had strongly denied the allegations, saying they were “heinous” and caused “the most difficult period my family and I have ever had to endure,” USA Today reported.

“Nothing happened, period,” Irvin told ABC in June. “There was no sexual contact whatsoever.”

Security footage showed the woman entering the hotel, then leaving the hotel with Irvin two and a half hours later. Tests showed she had alcohol, cocaine, Xanax, and Ecstasy in her system at the time of her report against him.

The Broward State Attorney’s office said it was “a case where there is not a reasonable likelihood of conviction,” ABC reported.

“There is not sufficient evidence for a criminal case. There is not sufficient evidence that any laws were broken,” said Irvin attorney Ken Padowitz, ABC reported. Padowitz also said Irvin and the woman knew each other before the allegation and that she was “treated like a member of the family,” according to Bleacher Report.

“I’ve been devastated professionally, personally, financially. It’s cost me millions of dollars, but that’s all behind me,” Irvin said, ABC reported. “I just want an opportunity to move forward.”

Irvin played for the Cowboys for 12 seasons, earning 65 touchdowns and 750 receptions for 11,904 total yards. He was a five-time Pro Bowler and won three Super Bowl titles.
