A quadruple shooting in Miami took the lives of a mother and two teenage children on Sunday, and left another child in critical condition.

Takeeya “KeKe” Fulton, 39, was killed in the shooting, which happened after she reportedly got into an argument with the father of three of her six children, the Miami Herald reported. Her daughter, Nuckeria “Keria” Harris, 19, was also shot and died at the scene. Her son, Corey “CJ” Bishop Jr., 17, later died at the hospital. A 12-year-old son is in stable condition.

The shooting occurred just before 4 a.m. in Southwest Miami-Dade. Police are seeking Antwon Lamar Fair, 32, in connection with the shooting. He is considered armed and dangerous.

Evette Woodard, a coworker of Fulton, said Fulton and her boyfriend got in arguments, but she thought they were nothing more than normal relationship struggles.

"I was shocked, so shocked," Woodard told the Herald. "Never in a million years would I have thought it would end this way."

Neighbor Edward E. Gonzalez, who has lived in the neighborhood for 27 years, described hearing gunshots to NBC 6.

"Well we were hanging out drinking last night and we heard gun shots like normal from those apartments and then we see someone running and I don't know what happened until this morning and we see something going on," Gonzales told the station.

Harris was killed while trying to defend her mother, WPLG reported. Bishop was shot while sleeping in his bed, according to the station.

The station highlighted a GoFundMe campaign connected to the family. According to the donation site, Fulton's surviving children are ages 12, 7, 5 and 6 months.
