Mariah Carey suffered a dislocated shoulder and was hospitalized on Sunday after falling during a video music shoot in New York, but the award-winning singer will keep her Saturday concert date at Central Park.

Carey was rushed to the hospital on the Upper East Side to have her shoulder reset, the New York Post reported. The tabloid said she was filming a remix of her song #Beautiful when the accident occurred.

The Daily News reported the accident happened in the early morning hours Sunday inside the nightclub Avenue in the Chelsea neighborhood where her husband Nick Cannon was directing the production.

"She was taken to hospital late last night, where doctors reset her shoulder," Carey spokeswoman Cindi Berger told the Post. "She is fine and is recovering at home."

The Daily News said Cannon attended to Carey while doctors on the scene examined her. The newspaper reported she was taken privately to a hospital and New York fire personnel were not called to the scene.

The Post said Carey created a new mix of her hit song, originally recorded with singer Miguel, with rapper Young Jeezy. The song will be the lead single for her upcoming album "The Art of Letting Go."

The Post reported that Carey still plans to make her free concert in Central Park’s Great Lawn on Saturday. The event is sponsored by Major League Baseball to benefit Hurricane Sandy Relief.

The five-time Grammy Award winner does have her legs insured for $1 billion, according to TVGuide.com. She got her big break in the late 1980s when she gave her demo take to Sony president Tommy Mottola, who she would later marry and divorce, according to TVGuide.com.

She earned Billboard's Song of the Decade award for her 2005 hit "We Belong Together." In 2006, she began a line of fragrances and jewelry while Pepsi signed her to produce cell phone musical tones, reported TVGuide.com.

In May, Carey and Cannon celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary at Disneyland with their children, according to Entertainment Tonight. There, they renewed their wedding vows in a private ceremony at the amusement park.
