An Indiana man faces multiple charges after he allegedly mailed dead skunks and a raccoon to the man who beat him out for an elementary school coaching and teaching job.

Travis Tarrants, 40, is accused of harassing the man who got the job coaching basketball and teaching fourth grade at Springs Valley School Corp. in French Lick, Indiana, according to court documents reported by WISH-TV.

Packages containing four skunks and a raccoon were mailed to the victim’s workplace and home from different addresses, including that of Tarrants' fiancee and the victim’s fiancee. The package with the raccoon contained a message that said “RESIGN! IT WILL NOT STOP,” WISH-TV reported.

Receipts for the packages were found at Tarrants' address along with the victim’s name and address.

In addition, Tarrants is alleged to have left threatening voicemails to the man and his fiancee, threatening to kill the fiancee and her baby and spray painting “u will die” on the victims’ cars with white spray paint, WISH-TV reported. Bottles of white spray paint and clothing with the paint were found at Tarrants’ address.

Tarrants is also accused of calling the Department of Child Services several times to accuse the male victim of abusing students and his fiancee’s daughter as well as sending letters to both victims’ workplaces with the same accusations, according to Fox 59. One letter claimed to be from a 15-year-old student. It had the male victim’s phone number with a picture of a man’s genitals.

Tarrants faces multiple felony charges of stalking, intimidation, and criminal mischief. The harassment is alleged to have occurred over several months. Tarrants' fiancee has reported that he had trapped several live skunks late last spring, WISH-TV said.
