Madonna Falls Down Stairs on Stage at Brit Awards (Video)

Madonna fell down some stairs on the stage while performing at the 2015 Brit Awards in London on Wednesday night, but the 56-year-old pop star managed to jump back up and finish her performance.

Madonna was performing "Living For Love" when a dancer tried to remove a cape she was wearing as part of the performance and she tumbled and landed on her butt at the bottom of some stairs on stage, according to the BBC News.

Madonna later posted on Twitter and Instagram that she was just fine after the fall.

Alexis Petridis of The Guardian wrote that Madonna's fall was the most noteworthy event that happened at the Brit Awards.

"The instant Madonna hit the deck, you knew that was the only aspect of the Brits that people were going to be talking about the next day," said Petridis. "What price the triumphs of Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith, or the deathless banter of Lewis Hamilton and Ellie Goulding, or even Jimmy Page dutifully saying 'I hope you're having a great night – I am!' while wearing an expression suggesting he'd rather have been having a sinus wash, when set against the sight of the most successful female artist of all time falling backwards down a flight of stairs?"

Madonna's Brit Award fall has led to plenty of meme's from creative minds on social media.
