A London jogger who reportedly knocked a woman into the street in front of a bus on Putney Bridge in May is being sought by London Metropolitan Police.

The man is seen in a video shoving a woman onto a busy Putney Bridge in London right in the path of an oncoming bus that somehow managed to avoid hitting her, according to The Washington Post.

The incident took place three months ago on the morning of May 5, but London Metropolitan Police have now released the video after struggling to find the jogger.

The man had been jogging along the sidewalk of the bridge and the woman was walking toward the subway station, which was in the opposite direction.

The bus was just several feet away from the two.

As the two were passing one another, the man shoved the woman with his right arm, pushing her into the road.

She fell into the street.

The oncoming red bus swerved to avoid hitting the woman, but the results could have easily been tragic.

"The victim was put in extreme danger when she was knocked into the road," Sgt. Mat Knowles said, according to reports. "It was only due to the superb quick reactions of the bus driver that she was not hit by the vehicle."

The woman is 33 years old, according to The Sydney Morning Herald.

The jogger continued to run showing no regard for the woman after he shoved her.

Instead, it was the bus driver and passengers on the bus who came to the woman's aid.

"The bus stopped and some passengers got off and rushed to the victim's aid. She received minor injuries from the incident," Metropolitan Police said in a statement.

"About 15 minutes later the jogger came back the other way across the bridge. The victim tried to speak to him but he did not acknowledge her and carried on jogging," police added.

Police are still looking for the jogger in question. He's been described as a man in his 30s with brown eyes and short brown hair, the Post noted.

"We are keen to speak with the jogger in the CCTV about what happened that morning," Knowles said. "We would urge him or anyone who recognizes him to get in touch with us as soon as possible."
