Kim Richards' New Role: 'Real Homeless Wife of Beverly Hills'

Kim Richards has lost the home she was renting in Southern California before returning to rehab as the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star continues to struggle after an April arrest and an inebriated display at her daughter's wedding.

Richards, a former child actress who starred on the Bravo reality show with her sister Kyle, packed up her belongings from the home she rented in the San Fernando Valley because she could no longer afford the payments, according to TMZ.

TMZ reported that Richards was back in rehab after she reportedly relapsed at her daughter's wedding.

Richards was arrested April 16 at the Beverly Hills Hotel on charges of trespassing and resisting arrest, according to the Los Angeles Times. Authorities said Richards showed "objective symptoms of alcohol intoxication" and was escorted from a hotel restaurant by security.

She then reportedly had to be forcibly removed from a restroom when she refused to come out, noted the Times.

E! News reported the Los Angeles district attorney's office formally charged Richards last month on three misdemeanor charges: one count of public intoxication, one count of resisting, obstructing, delaying a peace officer or EMT, and one count of battery upon a peace officer.

Richards is scheduled to appear in an arraignment hearing Thursday at the Los Angeles Superior Court, reported E! News.

TMZ said last month that Richards appeared to be under the influence at her daughter's wedding over the Memorial Day weekend where she reportedly offended her daughter and her new husband's family. The website said Richards had taken a leave from rehab to take part in the wedding.

A source told People magazine that Richards was motivated to seek out rehab after the April arrest.

"Kim went to rehab finally because she got arrested, she humiliated her kids and she wants to avoid jail," said the source. "If the arrest hadn't happened she wouldn't be going to rehab; it would be business as usual. She's in denial that she has a problem."

Richards starred as a child in series like "Nanny and The Professor" and "Little House On The Prairie," along with the Disney movies "Escape to Witch Mountain" and "No Deposit, No Return."
