Comedian Kevin Hart staged an impromptu 5K run when his stand-up tour stopped in Atlanta, and more than 100 serious runners turned out Friday morning after seeing his invitation on Twitter.

Hart, who recently starred in "Get Hard" alongside Will Ferrell, sent out a series of tweets on Thursday night announcing that he was going for a run in the park.

Before the run began, Hart explained for reporters and fans that it was in-part to promote his partnership with a healthcare technology company called Rally Health.

Hart used Twitter's new sister app, Periscope, to live-stream parts of the run. According to My Fox Atlanta, he finished the 5K in 21 minutes, which is quite good for Hart, who said he has only recently taken up the hobby.
