Kate Gosselin's ex-husband Jon said this week that he'd be willing to go on VH1's "Couples Therapy" to fix the strained relationship with his former wife if it would benefit their eight children.

Jon Gosselin, who costarred with his ex-wife on TLC's "Jon and Kate Plus 8," told Life & Style Weekly that he would be willing to retreat from a personal pledge to never do reality television again.

"I would consider appearing on 'Couples Therapy' with Kate," Gosselin told the magazine this week. "We're divorced, but why can't we co-parent? I was thinking Kate and I could do a televised sit-down with a doctor and work out our differences, because our kids are suffering."

But Kate Gosselin reportedly wants no part of the "Couples Therapy" show.

"She's still so angry at me," Jon Gosselin said of his ex-wife, according to E! News. "She says absolutely not. She doesn't want her faults exposed. I'd love for her to finally admit that she's dating [bodyguard turned business manager] Steve Neild. It's confusing for the children."

Jon Gosselin appeared on VH1's "Couples Therapy" earlier this year with then-girlfriend Liz Jannetta, but things turned ugly after he compared her to Kate Gosselin.

"When Liz laughs at me and walks away, it's like Kate," Gosselin said during the show. "That's exactly how I feel."

The original "Jon and Kate Plus 8" series still remains TLC's highest-rated reality program ever, grabbing nearly 10 million viewers at the height of its success after first airing in 2007. The couple divorced in 2009 and Gosselin has been a fixture in the tabloids ever since.

The rebranded "Kate Plus 8" was canceled in 2011 after poor ratings, according to The Hollywood Reporter, but TLC recently announced that it has ordered up another season to premiere in December after a "catch-up" special in June drew 2.1 million viewers.
