A Kansas man will have Super Bowl tickets for life after finding a golden Bud Light can and winning a sweepstakes held by parent company Anheuser-Busch.

Lyle Randa of Wichita, Kansas, noticed the golden can while putting cans from a 30-pack of Bud Light into his fridge during a family holiday party. He knew a golden can gained him entry into Bud Light’s “Super Bowl Tickets for Life” sweepstakes, so he and his wife uploaded a picture of themselves with the can to BudLight.com, he told The Wichita Eagle.

More than 37,000 golden cans were hidden in packs of Bud Light as part of the sweepstakes, and some of them were sent around the world.

Randa’s can was chosen from among all the entries for the prize — two tickets to the Super Bowl for the rest of the winner’s life, up to 51 years.

Randa is 52 and sees this prize as a "good reason to stay healthy" and live for a long time, he told The Wichita Eagle. He is an avid fan of NFL football and says he will root for the Patriots on Sunday.

Anheuser-Busch is flying Randa and his wife to Houston on Thursday to do interviews about his sweepstakes win before he sees the big game.

Randa says he will never open the winning can, but will save it along with his ticket stubs. “I’ve got a lot of years and family,” he told the Eagle, adding that he would love to take all of them in turn to Super Bowl games. “They will have to fight my wife for tickets down the road.”
