The Grammys will be boycotted next month by Kanye West, Justin Bieber and Drake, according to an anonymously sourced story by TMZ.

The three are up for a combined 20 nominations at the music industry's most prestigious awards show on Feb. 12 at Los Angeles' Staples Center, with rappers West and Drake up for eight each and Bieber for four.

In fact, according to the Grammys website, Drake and Bieber are both nominated for the one of Grammys' biggest awards: album of the year.  Bieber is up for his album "Purpose" and Drake was nominated for his album "Views."

Drake is also featured on Rihanna's "Work," which is up for consideration for the Grammy's record of the year.

"… We're told (Bieber) just doesn't think the Grammys are relevant or representative, especially when it comes to young singers," said TMZ. "Drake has (eight) nominations but we're told he also doesn't plan to be there ... we're told he'll be on tour in Europe. As for Kanye … he received 21 Grammys in the past, but he always lost when he went head-to-head against a white singer."

"Our sources say it's not like the Oscars ... there's no real anger, it's just that a lot of younger singers think the Grammys are out of touch and arguably irrelevant," said TMZ.

West had already threatened to boycott the Grammys back in October, said the Daily Mail.

West was taken to the UCLA Medical Center for a week of evaluation last November, leading to the cancellation of the rest of his Saint Pablo Tour, noted E! News.

"(West has) big ups and big downs, but this bout seems to be much more serious," a source told People magazine about West's hospitalization. "In the hospital he has been very paranoid and is under constant watch for his safety. He's still there because clearly he's not doing well."

Billboard magazine compared West's hospitalization to that of singer Britney Spears in 2008 and former child actress Amanda Bynes in 2013.

Spears was hospitalized under what is called a "5150 hold," or involuntary psychiatric hold after a series of erratic incidents. Bynes was put on a 72-hour 5150 hold after setting a fire in a stranger's driveway, and she remained hospitalized for several months.
