'Ghostbusters' 30th Anniversary: Members of Cast, Crew Reunite

It’s the 30th anniversary of “Ghostbusters,” and even decades later, most people know the movie’s catchy catchy tune and question, “Who ya gonna call?”

Six of the "Ghostbusters" cast and crew reunited for a cover shoot for Entertainment Weekly’s reunion issue, which will be out Friday.

Dan Akroyd, Bill Murray, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver, Annie Potts, and director Ivan Reitman also took the time after posing for the cover to chat with Al Roker.

“It’s hard to believe it’s been 30 years since my love affair with the movie ‘Ghostbusters’ began,” Roker admitted on "Today," adding that he’s seen it more than 100 times. He’s known for his “Ghostbusters” movie references and addiction to the film.

The actors and crew shared their memories with Roker.

“He slimed me. It was a disgusting combination of corn syrup and starch and some sort of adhesive and a kind of poision that’s used on chinchbugs,” Murray offered about the “Ghostbusters” scene where the cute green ghost left him slimed on the floor.

Ernie Hudson recalled watching Murray during the movie’s production in New York. “When I think about the movie and I look back, probably being on the streets of New York with Bill Murray and watching him react to the crowds and the people,” Hudson said. “I was always really impressed with that.”

Entertainment Weekly also got together the cast of “Mean Girls,” “Monty Python,” “The Fabulous Baker Boys,” and others.
