A Florida man shot out the tires of two AT&T utility trucks Wednesday morning because he reportedly didn’t want them parked in front of his home.

Jorge Jove, 64, was arrested after shooting at the trucks when they wouldn’t move away from the front of his home, where they were performing work, ABC 10 News reported.

Jove had earlier asked the workers to move their trucks, but they said they had to finish hanging lines on utility poles on the street and would move as soon as they could, the station reported.

Hialeah police Sgt. Carl Zogby said the workers weren’t doing anything wrong by parking in front of his house.

“They were on public access. They were working on utility lines. They have every legal right to do so,” Zogby said, ABC 10 reported.

Jove later told police he went “bananas” and had shot the trucks’ tires so they couldn’t leave after he called police on them, the Miami Herald reported. Jove said he was concerned the trucks would damage the pavers near his driveway.

Jove was charged with aggravated assault with a firearm and armed criminal mischief, the Herald reported. He was released Thursday morning after posting a $30,000 bond.

The shooting was captured on cell phone video, and one police officer said he also saw Jove shoot at an AT&T worker in a raised bucket lift as well, the Herald reported. It was unclear whether Jove intended to shoot at any personnel.

No one was injured in the incident.
