Eric 'The Actor' Dies: Regular on Howard Stern's Show Was 39

Eric "The Actor" Lynch, a frequent caller and popular guest on Howard Stern's SiriusXM radio show, has died, TMZ reported over the weekend. He was 39.

Johnny Fratto, Lynch's manager, told the gossip site that Lynch was taken to a hospital in Sacramento, California, Saturday after suffering heart problems where "most of his organs just gave out."

Fratto said Lynch was surrounded by family and friends when he passed Saturday afternoon. "The Actor" made his last appearance on Stern's radio show a week ago.

Lynch, who first started calling in to Stern's show in 2002, has also appeared in the television shows "In Plain Sight" and "Fringe," according to Us Weekly.

Standing 3-feet-5-inches tall, Lynch would often call in to yell at Stern and to profess his affinity for acting.

Stars and fans took to Twitter to pay tribute to Lynch after news of his death spread.
