Edith Flagg, Grandmother of 'Million Dollar Listing' Star, Dies at 94

Edith Flagg, the spunky fan favorite grandmother of "Million Dollar Listing" Bravo reality star Josh Flagg, has died. She was 94.

A Holocaust survivor and successful fashion businesswoman, Edith Flagg often appeared in scenes with her grandson on "Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles," which chronicles the city's competitive high-end real estate industry.

Josh Flagg confirmed his beloved grandmother's death on Instagram Wednesday.

"At 6 a.m. this morning, Edith Flagg, my grandmother, passed away. She was my best friend. I love you grandma, my darling wonderful woman. You are my hero. I will see you again one day," he captioned a photo of the two walking hand-in-hand.

Edith Flagg escaped Nazi-occupied Europe at age 19 and landed in the United States in the 1940s, TMZ reported. She made her wealth in the fashion industry and is credited with introducing polyester to America. According to TheRichest.com, she had a net worth of $100 million, much of which she donated to the United Jewish Welfare Fund and The City of Hope. 

Josh Flagg told TMZ that his grandmother served as a role model for many people through her life and business experiences.

"My grandmother was a legend, not only in my eyes, but in the eyes of the countless people she helped and touched," he said. "Beverly Hills and L.A. have lost one of the great members of the community."

A new season of "Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles" premieres August 20 at 9 p.m. EST in Bravo.
