#DistractinglySexy is the latest hashtag campaign to take over social media in response to the ongoing fallout over sexist comments made by Nobel-winning British scientist Tim Hunt.

"Let me tell you about my trouble with girls," he said at a recent conference in South Korea, the BBC reported. "Three things happen when they are in the lab: You fall in love with them, they fall in love with you, and when you criticize them, they cry."

The comments led the 72-year-old scientist to resign his position as honorary professor at University College London on Wednesday, and by Thursday female scientists were gleefully posting pictures of themselves with the #DistractinglySexy hashtag to mock his assertions.

Gathered below are just a sampling of tweets from the impromptu campaign.
