Diana Ross was injured in a limo crash Wednesday after an SUV ran into her vehicle in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, but the 72-year-old Motown legend still managed to perform at the Sands Casino Resort that evening.

According to the Morning Call, authorities said Ross complained of neck and head pains after a 22-year-old woman allegedly ran a stop sign and crashed into the limo that was transporting her.

Ross, the former lead singer of The Supremes, sent out a message to fans on Thursday after the wreck on Twitter.

The Express-Times identified the driver of the SUV as Jane Mousseau, of Maplewood, New Jersey. The newspaper stated that she received a ticket for a stop sign violation and was released.

Ross, a music legend known for hits like "Someday We'll Be Together" and "Stop! In the Name of Love," was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of The Supremes in 1988.

"The Supremes rose from the poverty of Detroit's Brewster housing project to become Motown's most consistent hit makers and the most popular female group of the Sixties," according to the group's Hall of Fame biography.

"The Supremes sang in a polished style that bridged the worlds of pop and soul. Their greatest success came with songs tailor-made for them by Motown's peerless in-house writing and production team of Brian Holland, Lamont Dozier and Eddie Holland," the biography continued.

Ross received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2012 and has received Grammy nominations both as a solo performer and member of the The Supremes, according to Yahoo Music. She was nominated for Record of the Year with Lionel Richie in 1891 for the song "Endless Love."
