Demi Moore is selling her landmark Manhattan home situated inside the San Remo luxury apartment complex on Central Park West for $75 million, a price that — if met — would set a real estate record on the Upper West Side.

The actress and then-husband Bruce Willis purchased the 7,000-square-foot penthouse that includes wraparound terraces in 1990, according to The New York Times. They bought the property, which includes a two-bedroom, two-bathroom lobby-level maisonette, from music producer Robert Stigwood.

"The triplex south tower penthouse widely considered the crown jewel of the San Remo, the twin-peaked Emery Roth masterwork and city landmark on Central Park West, is poised to enter the market for the first time in 25 years," The Times noted.

"The asking price for the residence, PH26C, along with a two-bedroom two-bath lobby level maisonette, No. 1H, included in the sale, is $75 million, an amount that, if met, would set a record for an Upper West Side co-op and shatter the in-house record of $26.4 million achieved at the San Remo last year."

NY Curbed wrote that Moore has been quietly trying to unload the penthouse, which costs nearly $18,000 a month in upkeep, since last year without much success.

At the time, though, "there were no photos, no floorplan, not even a description of the apartment, and a listing never materialized," NY Curbed reported. "As it turns out, the mysterious-and-super-expensive marketing strategy didn't work that well, because the A-lister is still trying to sell the place . . . But this time, she's taking the more traditional give-The-New-York-Times-an-exclusive marketing route. There is no listing yet, but The Times has lots of interior details."

The penthouse has 14 rooms, along with "a Southwestern Mission motif dominated by cherry wood." The living room overlooks a boat pond and has a wood-and-ceramic tile fireplace, according to NY Curbed.

"Compared with the other iconic private perches on the perimeter of Central Park, there just isn't anything quite like this penthouse," Adam D. Modlin, the president of the Modlin Group, who is handling the listing for the actress, told The Times.
