Daisy Belle Ward celebrated her 25th "birthday" at the age of 100 Monday as America's oldest known Leap Year baby.

Ward was treated to an extravagant all-white party with an 80-piece marching band for her 100th/25th birthday party in Sunrise, Florida, over the weekend, according to CBS News. She was also recognized by city officials, gospel music by recording artist Dottie Peoples, and even received a Centennial Certificate issued by President Barack Obama, CNN reported.

"Let the celebration begin," Ward told her family, which refers to her as "Big Daisy." "Ninety-nine and a half won't do. I've got to make the 100."

The family has submitted paperwork to have Ward, who was born in 1916, entered into the Guinness Book of World Records, CNN noted. Guinness officials told the news network that the odds are in Ward's favor.

"We currently do not have a title holder for the oldest living leap year baby," a Guinness representative told CNN.

Her son, Clinton Ward, told the news site that the family is excited about Big Daisy reaching 100.

"The idea about it is this — we're happy that she reached it," he said. "I'm 81 years old, and I would like to reach 100, but I would like to be in the state of mind just like she is."

Others sent their birthday wishes to Ward on social media.
