Chuck Norris Impersonator — Chuck Norbas —Robbed at Gunpoint in Brazil

Chuck Norris impersonator Chuck Norbas of Brazil was tied up and robbed at his São Paulo home on Thursday, but he did not spin-kick the assailants in the face like the real Chuck Norris would have done.

Norbas, real name: Norberto Tavares de Lira, fortunately suffered no injuries during the home invasion that began when four men surrounded him outside his home, The Mirror U.K. reported.

The men ripped him from the task at hand — cleaning up a car wheel — and forced him inside. There, they bound his hands and feet with a phone cord, and took his wife, Isabel, hostage in another room.

"I talked to the men and told them to take what they wanted but to be careful with my wife who was upstairs because she had a knee problem," he said after the incident. "It seemed to do the trick because they obeyed."

Norbas, who impersonates Chuck Norris on the Brazilian television series "Coisas que Porto Alegre Fala," said the intruders found his costumes after only a few minutes. One of the items was a police shirt that said "Defender" on the back.

"They asked if a police officer lived in the house and my wife explained I was Chuck Norris' double in Brazil," he reported. "They calmed down a bit after that. Robbing Chuck's house was a brave thing to do."

Luckily, a neighbor had seen the thugs push Norbas into his house against his will, and called the cops.

The robbers attempted to flee the scene in Chuck and Isabel's car — with jewelry, watches, cash, and two television sets in tow — but the boys in blue showed up, and three of the men were captured.

That leaves one assailant on the run — a perfect arrest mission for a first-ever Norris/Norbas team-up.
