Charlie Sheen is shopping his memoir around to publishing houses and asking a cool $10 million for it, the New York Post's Page Six reported.

It's a figure one industry exec said is laughable.

"When Charlie starred in ‘Two and a Half Men,’ it was a funny comedy, but the idea of $10 million is even funnier,” a publishing veteran shared off-the-record with Page Six. "So much of his life has played out in public, and so much is sordid — in this case there may be too much information. What's left to find out?"

Sheen's bizarre behavior made him a staple on front pages for years, but he had been flying a bit under the radar until last month when he revealed he is HIV positive.

Sheen made headlines again Thursday when CNN reported that the actor is being sued by ex-fiancee Brett Rossi for assault, battery, and false imprisonment, among other things. She claims Sheen also told her to have an abortion because he was worried the baby would be born HIV positive.

Some of Sheen's escapades were covered in the memoir of his "Two and a Half Men" co-star Jon Cryer, which came out in spring 2014, Page Six said. If he really does plan to write a tell-all story, though, he'd better get moving, the site's Richard Johnson wrote.

"Sheen should start typing fast. Publishing sources say calls are coming in from everyone around him — former bodyguards, porn stars, and 'goddesses' — all wanting to do tell-alls," Johnson wrote. "The more people tell his story, the less reason there is to read Sheen’s version."

But publisher Judith Regan is one who would like to get her hands on Sheen's life story, telling Page Six, "I would like to publish his autobiography as an epic poem."
