Charlie Sheen Denies Laughing Gas Knife Attack on Dentist

Charlie Sheen has denied an explosive report that he pulled a knife on his dentist last week while high on laughing gas, calling his accuser a "desperate troll."

On Thursday, that accuser, an unnamed female technician at Sheen's dentist's office, told TMZ that the actor began flailing his arms and became violent after she began administering nitrous oxide during his visit on Sept. 25. She claimed she ran to get the doctor, and when he entered the room Sheen pulled a knife on him. She also claimed that Sheen's bodyguard told the doctor that the star was high on rock cocaine — aka crack.

Police confirmed to TMZ that they were investigating the incident, but said the doctor told them his employee had made the whole thing up.

Charlie's lawyer, Marty Singer, later told TMZ that, "The story is being made up by this woman [the dental technician] who was fired on Friday for violating HIPAA by telling her son Charlie was in the office. It got back to Charlie and the dentist fired her."

"The dentist has confirmed and told the police that no knife was pulled on him by Charlie. Unfortunately, Charlie had a bad reaction when he received the nitrous oxide at the dentist office."

Jeff Ballard, Sheen's representative, said that "there was no knife involved and no illegal drugs," but did have a reaction to the nitrous. All that happened was that his arms flailed and he knocked over a tray, said Ballard. He said Sheen "has a shoulder injury from playing baseball that flares up every now and again for which he takes prescription medication." The medication apparently didn't mix well with the nitrous.

In the end, Sheen mocked the now-jobless woman, showing her no mercy after her bold accusation.

"Hey cholesterol pants: Maybe you should have taken the crack you so brazenly and ignorantly accused me of being on, and sold it!" he told TMZ on Friday. Now that you're a jobless washout and a traitor, you're gonna need the extra dough ... lick those food stamps, you desperate troll. C."

Sheen's dentist also came out in his customer's defense, issuing a statement to E! News.

"He has been the best patient. He has been generous with everyone," said the doctor.

"He has never been messed up on anything. He has been on nitrous before. He has been nothing but a gentleman. When he comes in, my whole staff lights up. He tips everyone. He is like the best patient to have. What I am reading doesn't even sound like the same guy. I've never seen Charlie be aggressive ever. I know him personally too. He is just not that guy. He is gentle."
