Charlie Sheen scored more than $4 million by auctioning off a Babe Ruth ring and the sales contract confirming the Sultan of Swat’s move from the Boston Red Sox to the New York Yankees.

The ring for the 1927 New York Yankees World Series victory belonging to George Herman “Babe” Ruth sold for $2,093,927 on Lelands.com, noted ESPN.

The sales document that sent Ruth to the Yankees was auctioned off for $2,303,920.

Both pieces of memorabilia belonged to Sheen, who purchased them in the 90s.

According to Lelands.com, the ring was originally obtained by baseball collector Barry Halpefrom in the 1970s, directly from Babe Ruth’s wife Claire.

“The ring was then brokered by Lelands in the mid-1990s to a private collector. It has never been auctioned nor publicly sold; it is for all intents and purposes ‘fresh to the market,’” said the website.

The website listed the contract selling Babe Ruth from the Boston Red Sox to New York Yankees as one of the most important transactions in sports history.

“Previously sold was the Boston Red Sox copy of the deal, formerly owned by the family of Harry Frazee, who allegedly sold the Babe to finance his theatrical productions,” said the website.

“That copy was originally sold in a Leland's auction in 1993 to philanthropist Alan Shawn Feinstein. He later sold it at auction at Sotheby’s in 2004 for $996,000. We present here the Jacob Ruppert copy (iconic New York Yankees owner) which Halper purchased from the Jacob Ruppert estate. It was sold privately by Leland's approximately a week after the 'Frazee Copy.' It has remained in that collection ever since and has never changed hands since.”
