A book on right-leaning news site Breitbart is in the works by Rosie Gray, The Atlantic’s White House correspondent and a former BuzzFeed reporter.

To be published by HarperCollins, the Breitbart book will focus mostly on former executive Steve Bannon and the impact he had there and thus far as senior White House strategist in the Trump administration, a source told BuzzFeed.

Breitbart has gained more notoriety since Trump took office in January, given one headline after another about Trump, his cabinet, and the new administration’s policies. The site has been called “Trumpbart” and a “platform for the alt-right.”

Last month, Alex Marlow, editor-in-chief at Breitbart, addressed criticism about its pro- Trump news coverage, said NBC News.

“There’s a lot of Americans out there who I think would love to read our content,” Marlow told NBC’s Stephanie Gosk. “And they haven’t been told that it’s OK to do so. It’s OK to check us out. We’re not a hate site.”

Marlow said allegations regarding the Trump administration’s potential Russian ties is nothing more than a political move.

“We’ve learned very little about any sort of nefarious connection between Trump and Russia,” Marlow said, per NBC News. “But what we have learned is there’s these incredible amounts of leaks flooding out of Washington, flooding out of these bureaucratic organizations, specifically to undermine the president of the United States. And the media is gleefully reporting all of them. And that’s something that’s a deep concern to me.”

Until Trump's campaign and election, Bannon was mostly unknown outside conservative media circles.

Bloomberg’s Joshua Green authored an article on Bannon in 2015, which has been acknowledged as one of the first published pieces to give some insight into the new White House adviser.

The article referred to Bannon as “the most dangerous political operative in America.”

According to Politico, Green has now signed with Penguin to write a book about the rise of conservative populism during the election.
